THERE’S A REASON NOT EVERYONE WRITES A BOOK.

  • The process is too time-consuming and difficult.

  • The words just won’t come out onto the page.

  • The publishing industry is overly complicated.

  • Life keeps getting in the way.

YET, WRITING A BOOK CAN . . .

ESTABLISH YOU AS AN EXPERT

Modern digital marketing tactics have revolutionized the personal branding game. These days, it seems like everyone has a website, blog, or even Wikipedia page. But not everyone has a book.

LEAD TO NEW OPPORTUNITIES

New book releases can open all kinds of doors: speaking engagements, media interviews, podcast appearances, and the list goes on. A book helps you get your foot in the door.

SHARE YOUR EXPERTISE

You are only one person. You can only reach a limited number of people by yourself. But with a book, you can share your insight with an audience of your choosing—and potentially even change lives.

That’s why I follow a streamlined process to write your book in under six months.

Step 1: Outline

In our first meeting, I will ask you a series of questions to better understand your story. Then, we will meet three to four more times to build a comprehensive outline that details all of the major points in your book.

Duration: One month

Step 2: Writing

We will meet for one hour every week to discuss content for the book. I’ll send you a list of questions beforehand so you can prepare for the meeting. Then, I will deliver the chapter at the end of the week, and you will edit it before we meet again. Rinse and repeat until we have a full manuscript.

Duration: Three months

Step 3: Editing

Here’s the fun part. Once we have a complete manuscript, you will edit the entire document from top to bottom. Then, I’ll clean up your edits before allowing you to edit it one more time. I will proofread the manuscript and send it to you for final approval.

Duration: Two months

What about cover design, layout, and publishing services?

While I’d love to offer a holistic service . . . I don’t think my clients would like it if I designed their book covers. Trust me.

If you’re looking for an all-inclusive service (or would like to work one-on-one with me and then go to another company for publication), I highly recommend checking out BrightRay Publishing at brightray.com.
